SBB bondholder drops lawsuit against the property group

STOCKHOLM (Reuters) – Sweden’s SBB said on Monday that its creditor U.S. hedge fund Fir Tree Partners would end its legal proceedings in relation to recovering its remaining 7.5 million euros of notes ($7.67 million) from the property group.

Reuters reported in November 2023 that U.S. hedge fund Fir Tree Partners was accelerating its notes and starting proceedings against SBB for debt recovery.

Fir Tree and SBB did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
